Grand Rapids-based body waxing studio, Waxology, will open its doors at Breton Village this Fall, joining a growing roster of specialty retail space in Grand Rapids.
Waxology specializes in brow, body, and Brazilian wax techniques. The group is doubling in size and will occupy a space located between Southside Flower Market and Boyne Country Sports, both of which are also set to open this Fall. The body waxing studio utilizes a variety of techniques to ensure hair removal is done safely and efficiently, including the use of different soft waxes, hard waxes, and sugar waxes depending on the customer.
Previously located in East Grand Rapids, Waxology has decided to relocate to Breton Village for the developing roster of local and national lifestyle brands and its focus on fashion, health, and wellness. “The updates that were done to Breton Village were exactly what I was looking for in a new space,” said Betsy Fahlen-Alverio, owner of Waxology. “There is a good mix of my favorite clothing stores, amazing restaurants, and shopping. I LOVE the fact there is a ping pong table and corn hole right outside my door with music all the time. I'm so excited to be a part of this new development and am looking forward to seeing what other businesses are added!"
Waxology joins a diverse selection of shops, fitness studios, and restaurants at Breton Village. The studio helps provide visitors with a new service to the area while complementing the currently-existing tenants. “We’re excited to have Waxology open at Breton Village,” said Scott Wierda, managing partner at CWD Real Estate Investment. “They are an excellent complement to our strong list of unique tenants and the services they provide are a perfect match for the local community.”
Waxology is expected to open its doors this Fall alongside Boyne Country Sports and Southside Flower Market. Click here for more information on retail space in Grand Rapids.
