Over the weekend Buddy's Pizza began teasing at the big move on their social media outlets with post captioned: "Pizza and beer are the perfect pair. Our next location is in one of the many Michigan cities with a great beer scene." On Monday, the group reposted a 2017 mLive aticle reporting Carrabba's closing with an ominous "winky emoji".
Managing partner of CWD Real Estate Investment, Scott Wierda, played a major role in bringing Buddy's Pizza to Grand Rapids. While the property may not be a part of CWD's diverse portfolio of West Michigan properties, Wierda happily obliged to assisted with the deal for the sake of great pizza and comraderie. At the end of the day, CWD is excited to bring Buddy's Pizza to Grand Rapids, making it another first-to-market deal for the group.
