Cycling and fitness studio, Spoke Cycle/Strength, is expected to open its first Michigan location at 1868 Breton Rd in Breton Village early next year.
Spoke is an indoor cycling and strength studio with its flagship location opening in early 2020. Spoke will offer high intensity cycling classes set to high-energy playlists that will transform the way you look and feel. In addition Spoke will offer unrivaled small group training classes that will target strength, conditioning and flexibility.
Breton Village has grown to become a market dominant shopping center for fashion, health & fitness, and specialty retail, making it the ideal location for a business like Spoke Cycle/Strength. “As the City’s Fashion District, Breton Village has become the destination for a variety of fashion, wellness, and lifestyle brands,” said Scott Wierda, managing partner at CWD Real Estate Investment co-owner of Breton Village. “The addition of a Spoke Cycle/Strength will offer new services to visitors and residents in the area, while creating strong synergy with the neighboring businesses at Breton Village.” Breton Village's distinct selection of retail spaces in Grand Rapids has made it a unique shopping destination in the area.
The combination of complimentary fitness groups (Studio Barre and Club Pilates) as well as retailers specializing in athleisure and athletic wear (LuluLemon and Boyne Country Sports), Spoke comes as a welcomed addition. "I have always had a strong sense of community. It excites me to bring people together for a cause whether it is exercise, education, philanthropy or social in nature,” says Stacey Maas, owner of Spoke. “For Spoke Cycle/Strength, Breton Village seemed to be the optimal location and best natural fit in achieving that place of community. With its diverse mixture of clothing stores, spas, restaurants and more, the shopping center offers convenience and lifestyle. It really is a lifestyle center for the local community and beyond. We are thrilled to be a part of this endeavor."
Spoke joins a strong list of businesses who recently opened their doors at Breton Village in 2019, including: Madewell, Boyne Country Sports, Cafe de Miro, Club Pilates, and more. In addition to the businesses that have already opened this year, Breton Village also welcomed Waxology and Southside Flower Shop, who are expected to open later this winter.
Spoke Cycle/Strength is expected to open its doors at 1868 Breton Rd in early 2020.
